This is the original! (Rubber soles) Rockport changed the production to a injection moulded model now in stores which is inferior to the original.
Thanks Amazon. This is a great walking shoe.

Changed the sizing information

I wear nothing but ProWalkers but the one thing that bothers me is the change in how they show the size on the tongue. I wear size 12 wide and until now it has been shown as "12W" under the "USA" letters. On my latest pair, it is simply shown as a "12", but now there is a string of numbers above the "USA" that ends in a "W". Since I have to rip out the insoles to put my arch supports in, I wanted to be sure that I did indeed have the correct size and not a 12 regular. Well it took me having to talk to 3 people at Peltz Shoes on the phone to confirm this. I guess I'll go rip out the insides of my shoe now and hope they are right.

I have been wearing Rockport shoes for years and have always loved them. I bought a 10M, like all of my other Rockport shoes. As soon as I put on the shoes, my feet both ached in the balls of my feet. I thought they needed to be broken in, but after wearing them two days, no change. They are marked M, but are actually narrow. I intend to return them!

For the money, these are very comfortable shoes... I have narrow feet (C width) so the Medium width shoes fit great! They hold up well too, mine typically last almost 2 years wearing them every day to work.

My everyday wear shoe

I love this business casual walking shoe. Its my everyday wear shoe for work and it lasts me for couple of years. Extremely comfortable and a great product bu Rockport. Also Amazon prices are amazing for this shoe .. much better than buying from the B&M stores.
